Welcome from the Headteacher

A warm welcome to Pickhurst Infant Academy where children love to learn. Pickhurst Infants is a centre of excellence in early years education, a truly inclusive school where within a nurturing environment each child’s ability is recognised, valued and developed.

Our core values of Friendship, Respect, Excellence, Determination and Resilience motivate and inspire our children to embrace challenge, show respect, be resilient learners and achieve excellence. Through an inspiring and exciting curriculum that includes outdoor learning and Forest School, our children learn how to problem solve, think creatively, work collaboratively and communicate effectively.

Our children are able to develop their interests and talents to become happy, confident lifelong learners so that by the age of 7, they are ready to move with confidence to the next phase in their education.
